The Way Of Slav 2 - Summer EDT.

Running / cycling event. The same route, the same rules as with our spring edition ! If you did it before - chase your pb! You not bother with pbs? Join for fun! Take part solo or as a team. Competitive or to Socialise.

Water and snack Stations on the way in Stafford, at turning point and at finish.Medals and goodie bags optional too.

It's pretty straight forward. Runners on Sunday ( and cyclists who does 60k on Saturday ) start in Gnosall Park and run/ride on the track, all way down to it's end in Stafford, where we'll have our 1 St pitstop for food, hydration etc and that's where cyclists doing 40k would start on Saturday ( the little carpark - Martin drive, back of the Castle fields) This is also where 10k runners finish they run ( if GPS playing and you won't get your 10k just run down to roundabout and back) . From there we go through town towards Tixall Rd to join canals at Baswich Lane. We run / ride along canals to get to Tixall wide which is 19.5km from start and about 10km from first pitstop. Then we moving on, sticking to canals and running another 10k ish to 2nd pitstop which also is our turning point at 30.3km - for all supporters 3rd pitstop is between The Mossley and Wheelhouse Road in Rugeley. Then we'd run / cycle back, another 10k to get to our last pitstop before finish which will be 41km from Gnosall and around 31 km from 1st pitstop in Stafford, ( near Tixall Wide) . From there we going back to Stafford to finish our ultra run / long bike ride in town park of Mill Bank side. All pitstops are optional, there obvs will be different strategies on the day.

Bikers, Saturday the 28th of August

60k - start 8am Gnosall Park (across the road from the pub)

40k - start 9am Stafford, Martin drive car park, Castle fields

Runners, Sunday the 29th of August

All runners start 8am, Gnosall Park

10k - Gnosall to Stafford Castle fields

20k - Gnosall to Stafford Castle fields and back

40k - Stafford to turning point with finish in town

50k Gnosall through Stafford to turning point with finish in town centre

60k - Gnosall to Gnosall

You can run / cycle any distance along the route from 5 to 60k! 🔥

Also all cyclists are more then welcome to join runners on Sunday, if it's to take a part again or to support or to run 😉
